Take your vows in the local church, or choose to marry in the main house, in the tastefully decorated lounge with its open fire and large windows giving views of the golf course and the scenic countryside beyond. Comfortably accommodating up to 130 people for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, alternatively in summer months, the happy couple can also get married in the picturesque rose garden. With the scent of roses filling the air, surely the perfect choice for a romantic service.

Wedding Photography Opportunities

Located in beautiful Perthshire, it’s the perfect country setting for your special day. A lot of people spend the happiest days of their life at Murrayshall, which was voted Best Country House Wedding Venue at the 2013 Scottish Hotel Awards.

The venue prides itself on providing a bespoke experience, citing the fact that no two brides, or indeed grooms, are the same, so why should their day be?

The house is very traditional from a décor point of view, and has some wonderful nooks and crannies around the place for some quiet bridal portraits later in the day. However, the views and outdoor opportunities are breath taking! Your wedding photography should be equally breathtaking with the opportunities provided.
The staff seem to take it as a personal goal to ensure everyone, and I do mean everyone!, has the best possible experience, and a day to remember.

This is one of my favourite destination wedding venues, and one that I “almost” did a wedding brochure shoot for, back in 2010. Oh, the possibilities!
